Kingdom Hearts

Imagine a fever dream where Final Fantasy's angst-ridden aesthetic crashes headfirst into a Disney theme park. Kingdom Hearts is the ultimate cross-over experiment, tasking you with wielding a giant key-shaped sword to save various worlds from encroaching darkness. It is a bizarre, earnest, and undeniably ambitious action-RPG that blends real-time combat with iconic animated landscapes. While the lore is notoriously convoluted and prone to spiraling into existential madness, the core appeal remains the sheer audacity of watching Donald Duck cast magic alongside a spiky-haired teenager in a quest to protect the power of friendship.
