No More Heroes

Travis Touchdown is a pathetic, otaku-obsessed loser living in a motel, and he is exactly the protagonist you deserve. Armed with a beam katana and a complete lack of moral fiber, he hacks and slashes his way through a bizarre gauntlet of assassins to climb the ranks of the United Assassins Association. It is a grimy, unapologetically punk-rock action game that thrives on its own absurdity, weird humor, and over-the-top violence. While the open world is admittedly a bit of a slog, the stylish boss battles and the game's sheer, unhinged confidence make it a cult classic that refuses to play by anyone else's rules.
