Panzer Dragoon Saga

Forget the rail-shooting roots of its predecessors; Panzer Dragoon Saga is a sprawling, melancholic RPG that pushed the Sega Saturn to its absolute breaking point. You play as Edge, a mercenary bonded to a mysterious dragon, navigating a haunting, post-apocalyptic world that feels ancient and lived-in. The combat is a brilliant hybrid, blending tactical positioning with the series' signature aerial intensity. With its fully voiced cast, cryptic lore, and a sense of scale that defies its hardware, it remains a singular, atmospheric masterpiece that feels like a fever dream you never want to wake up from.
