Travis Touchdown is back, but he’s traded his usual open-world antics for a bizarre trip inside a legendary game console. After a scuffle with a vengeful father lands him and his rival trapped within the Death Drive Mk II, the otaku assassin must hack and slash his way through a variety of surreal, indie-inspired game worlds. It’s a meta-narrative fever dream that blends top-down arcade action with lengthy, text-heavy visual novel segments. While the gameplay loop can feel repetitive, the game’s sheer stylistic confidence and Suda51’s signature brand of self-aware, quirky writing make it a weird, unforgettable ride.
