Undertale: Bits and Pieces

Undertale: Bits and Pieces was an ambitious, fan-made overhaul of Toby Fox’s iconic RPG. Rather than just a simple texture pack, it functioned as a ground-up reimagining, injecting the Underground with a sharper 16-bit aesthetic, remixed music, and fresh areas like the Sewers. It aimed to modernize the experience by backporting quality-of-life features from Deltarune, such as a dedicated run button and a functional pause menu. While it promised to expand the lore with new characters and secrets, the project was ultimately abandoned following a major controversy involving its lead developer.
